Over the course of two years in this department, analysts will come away with skills in financial advisory, capital markets, and transaction execution, including analyzing information, preparing cash flow analyses, requests for proposals, client presentations, and conducting research. Analysts will gain skills in sourcing and pitching Capital Markets and Investment Banking capabilities, assisting Syndicate and engaging with Sales & Trading on executing Capital Markets transactions, delivering feedback to a client post-transaction, engaging in financial modeling, and performing analysis for M&A dealings.
Over the course of two years in this department, analysts will come away with skills in analysis, evaluation, origination, trading, and settlement across both fixed income and equity markets. This includes experience with federal agencies, money markets, U.S. Treasuries, corporates, supranationals, MBS, ABS, municipals, and equities. Analysts will become proficient with industry wide and proprietary electronic trading and research platforms.
Our annual summer internship program has become a flagship program for us. We provide a comprehensive banking or sales & trading experience to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as workplace exposure for high school students. The program teaches a number of professional skills, including teamwork, how to interview, working in a professional environment, delivering on job responsibilities, and client relationship development. We are very proud to say that our former interns have gone on to do incredible things, both on Wall Street and beyond.
