Mr. Chan joined CastleOak Securities in 2025 with more than two decades deep expertise in fixed income and electronic trading. He is focused on advancing execution quality, enhancing transparency, and building a differentiated liquidity pool through CastleOak’s electronic trading platform, DirectPool. Prior to CastleOak, Dan was Head of Live Markets at MarketAxess, where he played a central role in shaping the firm’s credit trading capabilities, particularly in all-to-all and automated trading. He was also a member of the foundational team at Tradeweb Credit, where he became the first salesperson for the firm’s institutional credit platform. Earlier in his career, Dan was a Vice President in credit sales at Goldman Sachs, within the Fixed Income, Currency, and Commodities (FICC) Trading & Sales division. He holds a B.S. in Finance and an A.S. in Philosophy from St. John’s University, graduating magna cum laude, and holds FINRA licenses Series 7 and 63.
